Aoi Ichika Review

Aoi Ichika is a Japanese anime television series that was originally aired from April to June of 2020. It is produced by Production I.G and directed by Takao Yoshioka. The cast features Masashi Honda as Ryo Kawagoe, Ayumi Fujimura as Akane Tsunemori, Kana Hanazawa as Hana Minaguchi, and Yuuki Kaji as Tomoya Akiyama.

Aoi and Tomoya form a “harem” and Tomoya takes on the role of her “girly man”, which he is not very happy about. Their relationship turns sour when Tomoya reveals that he is in love with Aoi.

Because of this, Tomoya decides that they must break up so that he will not get hurt in the process. This is the story line of Aoi Ichika and is similar to other anime series where lovers must part ways to move on.

The story begins after a bomb explodes in the school and a bunch of children are injured. Aoi is taken to the hospital and is put in an induced coma. Aoi awakens from her coma, but she has lost her memory.

Aoi is asked to do a live broadcast on Japanese television where she would discuss her memories of the time she was in the hospital and how she managed to survive. She decides to go on the show and be funny in order to entertain the audience. However, she becomes worried because there are other people watching and that she might lose her nerve and ruin the performance. As a result, she goes off to meet Tomoya and tell him everything that is going on.

Tomoya goes along to help her perform but gets angry at her because she does not want to tell him the details about her situation and thinks that she is hiding something from him. Tomoya decides to go along with her and helps her with the show, until she suddenly leaves the show. The two become best friends and go on a date until Aoi decides to give Tomoya a ring to commemorate their friendship.

However, Aoi decides that she is not willing to give Tomoya a ring until he gets back from his trip. Eventually, Tomoya realizes that he needs to give her more than just a ring in order to feel as if he did in the past.

The end of Aoi Ichinie is one of the funniest anime series I have ever seen. It is also very romantic.

If you want a light-hearted romance story with a lot of heart then you should watch Aoi Ichinie. and see how it ends.
